Material Notes
Boards are cut by hand, so minor size variations may occur. Actual dimensions will be very close to the listed 20" × 30" size.
Thin Baltic Birch can develop some bow or warp, and larger sheets are more likely to show it. We do our best to ship flat, usable material, but hold-down pins, magnets, or other work-holding methods may be helpful during cutting.
Because the clear finish is already applied, masking is often unnecessary. Light laser residue can often be removed gently with a baby wipe or soft lint-free cloth. Wipe carefully to avoid damaging the finish.
Laser Settings
Glowforge: Medium Basswood Plywood / Proofgrade-style settings can be used as a starting point. Adjust as needed for your specific machine and material batch.
Aeon Mira9 90W starting point: 45 mm/sec speed, 70% power, autofocus. Always test your settings before a production run, since results can vary with optics, airflow, tube condition, focus, and material batch.
Shipping
UPS Ground shipping is included for addresses within the contiguous United States. Please do not use this listing for PO boxes or destinations outside the contiguous United States.
