Black Limba is a tropical tree native to western coast of Africa. It's color is a light brown to a greyish color with non-uniform dark lines running throughout, as well as the occasional knot in the wood. Usually used for making furniture and musical instruments, this wood is a good, lower cost substitute for Zebrawood when cost control for a project is a high priority.
This Black Limba is perfect for laser cutting. It is Kiln Dried and is 100% solid hardwood. It has zero fillers, seams, or glue.
Product measures (approx) 20in x 6in and is 1/8 thick. We try to ensure that all boards are ready for use as is, but some may require minor sanding. All wood products are unfinished.
